‘StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm’ Sells 1.1 Million Units in 2 Days



‘StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm’ is pretty hot, it's performing  extremely well.

Blizzard Entertainment said that Heart of the Swarm has sold some 1.1 million copies both physical and digital sales. Blizzard did not provide a breakdown between digital and retail copies.

It took Heart of the Swarm only two days to achieve the 1.1 million-unit mark, which is impressive.

Wings of the Liberty, which is the first release for StarCraft 2 sold about 1.1 million units in its first day, and about 1.5 million units by the 48-hour mark.

Blizzard also revealed that they had about 1.1 total viewers tune into their launch-day festivities on Twitch. The concurrent viewership for the Heart of the Swarm topped off at 250,000 viewers.

Heart of the Swarm is also performing well on metacritic having a metascore of 86 out of 100 as of this day.

LaFerrari is a V12 hypercar. It pack a 6.3-litre engine that produces 800bhp. If that's not enough the F1-style KERS setup allows an extra boost of 163bhp, taking power to 963bhp.

It is quite powerful especially for a car that only weigh 1,200kg.

Only 499 LaFerraris will be built. The price is €1.3-million before taxes.

A V12 supercar, the Veneno was designed to come as close as possible to a Le Mans-quality race car that's still usable on public roads. Power comes from a 740-hp version of the Aventador's 6.5-liter V-12 linked to a 7-speed automated manual transmission and permanent all-wheel-drive, good for a top speed of 220 mph and 60 mph in less than three seconds.

Lamborghini will only build three Venenos for $4 million.

Rolls-Royce unveiled the the fastest and most powerful car the company have made to date.

624-bhp V12 engine cranking out 590 pound-feet of torque. It can hit 100kmph in just 4.4 seconds. It features a new 8-speed ZF transmission that uses very cool satellite aided technology that helps the car preselect the next gear based on the road ahead! The interiors embrace modern tech with touch screen and touch screen infotainment systems. This being a Roller luxury is at the highest level with Phantom grade leather and plush wood trim across the cabin.

The new Golf GTI is powered by a two-litre four cylinder TSI petrol engine that is available in two levels of power output - 220PS and 230PS. The 230PS performance pack' version will also be equipped with bigger brakes and a torque-sensing limited-slip differential. Volkswagen claims that this model will be up to 18 per cent more efficient than the previous GTI. The GTD too is similarly updated with the 184PS EA288 two litre TDI diesel engine that delivers 380Nm of torque at just 1750prm. Both will feature either a six speed manual or six speed DSG gearbox and economy boosting start stop technology.

This 5th generation supercar very recently established a lap time of under 7:30 minutes at the Nrburgring Nordschleife. Completely redeveloped with a new engine, body, chassis and transmission the 911 GT3 can sprint to 100kmph in just 3.3 seconds with a top speed touching 314kmph.

The latest version of Porsche's track-honed, rear-engined sports car uses a 468bhp naturally aspirated, 3.8-litre flat-six engine with a 9,000rpm redline.

Another innovation for the latest GT3 is the use of an active rear-wheel steering system, which either steers in the opposite or same direction as the front wheels depending upon the car's speed. The purpose is to improve agility and stability, as will the "dynamic engine mounts" and electronically-controlled locking rear differential.
