Dromida R/C cars has a new lineup composed of 1/18 scale vehicles, and they look really solid. The lineup is composed of three vehicles:

1. The BX4.18 off-road buggy
2. MT4.18 monster truck
3. SC4.18 short-course truck

They all cost just $99.99 and they come with 2.4GHz radio system with trims, steering dual rates & throttle dual rates; full ball bearings; Factory-installed motor; steering servo; receiver/speed control; waterproof electronics; 6-cell, 1300mAh NiMH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) battery; AC charger & charge monitor; (4) "AA" radio batteries.

Dromida aim for this lineup is a high-performance, inexpensive, low-maintenance line of R/C cars they are all factory assembled you don't need to build or buy anything. Just get it out of the box and start your off-road engine.

The RCs exterior are different from each other but if you remove the plactic casing, they all seems to look the same inside. They have the same basic parts.

The controls are standard, it has a small wheel for steering and a trigger for forward and backward. Once you tried it you will feel the power and I'm impress on how quickly it reached the top speed.

I think the main market for Dromida are beginners and casual RC fan. The price is good and it's really easy to use.

  1. I'm not familiar with Dromida RC cars but these 1/18 scale models look pretty cool. The price is also not that bad. Would love to try them and see how they perform on the track.

    Also nice blog.
