LEGO Caterham Super Seven Car Kit

The new Caterham Super Seven kit is a fun toy for do-it-yourself enthusiast. This is part of LEGO's ideas program, which allows fans create awesome model, take great photos, and write a convincing project description and submit it for voting.

If the kit gets 10,000 supporters within the year, it qualifies for LEGO review. The LEGO review board composed of designers and marketing representatives will evaluate the submitted kit and they will choose projects that will ultimately become new LEGO Ideas sets. The Toy company can’t make everything, but every project in review gets a fair shot.

If the kit is chosen it will go into production and it will be officially distributed by LEGO, the creator will get a small percentage of sales.

The Caterham Super Seven Car Kit was created by Carl Greatrix, he jokes that it’s a kit car of a kit car. It is a classic British kit sports car. The parts are close to reality which is really cool. The kit's frame is tubular, the side exhaust looks real, and even individual throttle bodies and side-mounted air intake are visible if you remove the front hood of the car kit.

Cozmo A Tiny Robot With Personality

Cozmo, is a tiny robot that look similar to the Pixar movie "WALL-E", the robot which developed a personality after years and years of cleaning up garbage on Earth. Cozmo which is created and designed by Anki is just 2.5-inches tall. It looks like a shaped like a miniature bulldozer with a CRT monitor.

It likes meaningful eye contact and heavy lifting. Cozmo is a robot companion designed as a friend. It’s lifelike enough to evoke sympathy. It looks like an ordinary toy robot, but it has been programmed to move, interact, and give emotion like it has feelings. Anki designed Cozmo using a combination of artificial intelligence, image and voice recognition, and animation.

Cozmo gets grumpy when you poked or turned on his back. It will show you through its small OLED screen with two animated eyes, its eyes narrow and it grunts at you. It evolves the more you spend your time with it.

Other emotion that it express are anger, focused, annoyed, surprised, skeptical, bored, scared, sad, happy, or any combination of those emotions. It can also be curious, clever, persistent or playful. It develops a unique personality according to the person it interacts with.

It works using a smartphone app that provides a matching soundtrack to his actions. A camera in his face can identify who is playing with him, and once you type a name into the app, he remembers who you are and will even say your name. It's one of the few words he says out loud. Mostly he communicates with a series of beeps and tones.

Anki is based in San Francisco that is known for its racing game Overdrive.

The robot is for ages 8 and above and cost $180, it will be available in October. You can pre-order now for just $159.99 on their website.

Skylanders Imaginators Crash Bandicoot

The beloved orange marsupial is back, at the Sony’s E3 2016 press conference, they revealed that the beloved Crash Bandicoot will be appearing in Skylanders Imaginators as a playable character. The they will be also releasing an HD remake of the classic mascot’s PS1 trilogy, that includes Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2, and Crash Bandicoot Warped.


In the video trailer looks like a wormhole was opened in Skylanders Imaginators, that brings the appearance of Aku Aku, as he has come to announce a once-in-two-decades Synchronization Celebration, which happens to be a time when all of the worlds align perfectly. However, Kaos wishes to take over Skylands using an army of Doomlanders, leading Crash Bandicoot to jump through the wormhole in order to save them and defeat the villain.

The players may also play with another hero, and the game will also let players design their own characters with which to play.

Skylanders Imaginators is scheduled to release on October 16, 2016 for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Wii U, with Crash Bandicoot set to join the party.
