Oops! We should always practice extreme caution when playing with our big toys it may cost us a lot if we are not careful!

PLACER COUNTY, CA - A fire that sent black plumes of smoke across the sky in Lincoln, Friday will continue to burn throughout the night, said Cal Fire spokesperson Daniel Berlant.

The fire is at Fiddyment Road and East Catlett Road, just west of Thunder Valley Casino.

Berlant said the fire started after a RC Model Helicopter crashed in the grass field.

The wildfire portion of the blaze was contained around 5:50 p.m. Friday. Crews worked to get a handle on a haystack, which burned into Saturday morning, Berlant said.

At 5:30 p.m. Friday, 14 fire engines were at the scene. Firefighters from CalFire, Placer County, Roseville and Rocklin battled the 80 acre blaze.
