Xbox One Will run on Windows 8
Microsoft's latest next-generation gaming console the Xbox OS can run on 3 operating systems: Windows, Xbox OS and a software that lets the user switch app and multitask.
It also seems that the Xbox One can run on Windows 8 apps since on Dell's website it says that the console can run nd get synced with Windows 8 apps.
"Consider the game officially changed. With all your favorite Windows 8 apps able to be run on and synced to your Xbox One, now your phone, desktop, tablet and TV can all give you a unified web and entertainment experience."
Microsoft's first next-generation gaming console "Xbox One" will go on sale November 22 in 13 countries that includes Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States and New Zealand.
The Xbox One's launch has been delayed in some markets until 2014 to work on customising the user interface and translating software to native languages. In the Asian markets it will be offered in 2014 and will only be available initially in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and India.
