They must be rubbing it in to Xbox One despite an uptick in Xbox One units sales last month. Microsoft said that sales of Xbox One more than doubled in June. Sony said that they plan to target the Wii owners who skipped on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for their PS4.
Microsoft dropped the required "always-on" Kinect 2 sensor, and with the Xbox One without Kinect they have significantly dropped the price from US$499 to US$100.
