Nintendo Wii Mini Available in US for $99.99

Nintendo announced that they will release the Wii Mini in the US later this month. It is currently available in Europe and Canada. The system has no Wifi capabilities and will cost $99.99 for a bundle that includes a copy of Mario Kart Wii.

The Wii Mini can't play Nintendo Gamecube games and has no SD slot.

The Wii production has been discontinued in Europe and Japan, while their console the Wii U has been struggling to match its predecessor's success.

Nintendo is optimistic that things will look up as they release new games like Super Mario 3D World on November 22 and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze in December.
