Pixar's Finding Dory
Pixar's Finding Nemo was one of their most popular films back in 2003 now after 13 years here comes the sequel "Finding Dory". Ellen DeGeneres will reprise the role of Dory. Hank, an Octopus with only seven tentacles will be played by Ed O'Neill (Modern Family), and Bailey (beluga whale) is played by Ty Burrell (Modern Family).
At Disney’s D23 Expo Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton gave some juicy details about Finding Dory.
“I wanted to know that if this charming, forgetful fish ever got lost again, that she would be okay. That she would find her way home. And at the end of ‘Finding Nemo,’ I wasn’t confident about that. So that’s when I knew I had another story”, Stanton said.
The film is about an ocean sanctuary where wounded animals are treated and released back into the wild.
In the short teaser of the movie Finding Dory, it shows Dory and Marlin, along with his son Nemo (Alexander Gould). Dory is having trouble with her instincts which is trying to guide her home, but she forgot where or why she needs to go home. Eventually, she remembers that her mother and father have no idea where she is and she has to go find them. Though Marlin doesn’t want to go on another journey, he eventually relents and states that he “knows a guy” to get them across the ocean.
The movie takes place only 6 months after the events of Finding Nemo, and is set largely in the Marine Biology Institute of California.
