When you start your vehicle during cold weather it needed more power than ussual, you need to make sure that your battery is fully charged.

You need to make sure that all your lights are working for safety reason since it is dark on the road most of the time and visibility is low.

Cold temperature can affect tire pressure that can limit their stopping ability, check your vehicle's tire tread and pressure monthly.

Frozen water can further damage windshield cracks and chips that may impair your visibility. Do not wipe away snow or ice with windshield wipers as it will damage the blade and reduce their effectiveness in rainy conditions.

Always bring a winter driving kit that includes the following: flashlight, window-washing solvent, small shovel, traction mats, bag of sand and other abrasives for traction, gloves, ice scraper, cloth, jumper cables, towels, blanket, cell phone, car charger, and reflective triangles.
