CES 2014: AnkiDrive iOS-Powered Toy Car

Anki Drive is an advanced Artificial Intelligence controlled toy cars that battle it out for victory. The toy is very futuristic. The starter kit includes what you need to start playing however you will need a compatible iOS device to play. It cost about $199, included are two cars and the racing mat. If you want additionla cars it is sold $69 apiece.

Parrot's Jumping Sumo is a “insect robot” toy that can launch itself and jump about 3 feet in the air. The French company is presenting its latest products at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. While the Parrot's MiniDrone is a "miniature" flying drone quadricopter.

Both can be controlled using a smartphone or tablet. The Jumping Sumo is equipped with a gyroscope and accelerometer. It can roll and turn 90 degrees with precision.

The MiniDrone is equipped with a ultrasonic sensor, gyroscope and downwards-facing camera which allows it to be airborne. The battery life is just 6 to 7 minutes.

The price and release date has not yet been announced.
