X-Men: Apocalypse New Castings Storm, Cyclops and Jean Grey

Looks like there will be a new actors and actresses to play Storm, Cyclops and Jean Grey. In the first X-men movie back in 2000, Storm (Ororo Munroe) was played by Halle Berry, James Marsden was Cyclops, and Famke Janssen played Jean Grey.

In the upcoming franchise X-Men: Apocalypse Director Bryan Singer announced new casting for these well-loved mutants. Sophie Turner will play Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp will be Storm, while Tye Sheridan will be Cyclops.

Sophie Turner is known for her role as Sansa Stark on HBO's Game of Thrones. Alexandra Shipp played Aaliyah in the  Lifetime movie Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B. While, Tye Sheridan was known for his characters in the movies The Forger and Joe.

X-Men Apocalypse is expected to be released on May 27, 2016.

Bryan Singer will Direct "X-Men Apocalypse"

X-Men: Apocalypse which is set to be released on 2016 will be directed by Bryan Singer. The movie will be tied with X-men: Days Of Future Past.

James McAvoy has also confirmed that he will return to the role of Charles Xavier in future X-Men films. The upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past would feature an Xavier that had not been seen before in the films he said.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will be released in the US on May 23, 2014.
