Air Hogs Battle Tracker is very cool just by looking at it. It looks impressive and it seems ready to defend your airspace. The surface-to-air missile set is equipped Automated Robotic Turret (A.R.T.), Turret radar dish, Assembled attack helicopter as its nemesis, Controller/charger, 18 pieces of foam turret missiles, and 7 pieces of foam helicopter projectiles.

The surface-to-air missile will actually shoot foam projectiles to its target, while the helicopter shoots flat foam discs.  The turret is powered by 4 AA batteries while the helicopter has a non-removable, rechargeable battery. It will take about 28 minutes to fully charge the helicopter.

This will be in my wishlist this year, the Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Remote Control RC Quadricopter with HD Camera 720p has a lot of uses. You can use it to shoot astonishing aerial videos or aerial photo shoots, like you are filming a movie. It has stabilization system and video post-processing to get clean smooth shots. You can also adjust speed and moves in real time to compose your video sequence.

I saw this when I attending a wedding, they use the RC Quadricopter to shoot amazing aerial shot of the location and the wedding. The video was very stable and it was done smoothly, however, I must say they are professionals so for a newbie like me I don't think I can capture stable shots like they do.

Another good thing about this RC is that your HD videos and pictures are sent directly to your device.

It also has ample power in its motor that will let you fly high with acceptable speed and stay in mid air. You can control the RC by iPod touch, iPhone, iPad, and Android Devices.

‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Toys Reveal Movie Spoilers

Movie producers of Amazing Spider-Man are keeping a tight lid on the movie but unfortunately a toy company revealed some spoilers. You can see "The Lizard" on the remote control device of an RC toy courtesy of Idle Hands. It also shows the full lizard figurine riding on a quad.

The plane was pretty sluggish on the ground, I thought it won’t be able to fly but it did fly. It’s nice to see huge RC plane like this actually fly.

10 security personnel injured in remote control attack in SWA

Sad to hear that remote controls are being used for this activities.

WANA, (SANA): A remote controlled bomb attack on Monday wounded at least 10 security personnel in Sararogha sub-district of South Waziristan Agency.

The device was detonated by remote control as a military convoy was passing through the Sararogha, resulting in the injury of 10 personnel, out of them the condition of three is critical.

The injured security personnel have been shifted in Jand hospital, where condition of three injured personnel is critical.

Meanwhile the security forces after cordoning off the area conducted the search operation for the arrest of responsible persons behind the attack but no arrest was made in the operation.

Trash converted to a cute Android robot

If you've always wanted that little Android icon on your phone to come to life, there's hope. Someone from Taiwan has built himself an Android robot--made from a painted garbage can.

Despite its trashy origins, the wheeled robot certainly looks adorable with its rotating arms and LED lights for eyes. All of these actions are controlled via an external remote control. There's even a little port at the back to charge the machine.

This little fella was built using Arduino, an open-source microcontroller board for developing interactive objects. The microcontroller takes commands from the remote control and sends them to the switches used to control the lights and motors of the robots.
